Mike Lowdell - Chief Executive Officer

Mike has worked for three Trusts in a senior leadership level across three different counties. Mike has an established record of delivering high quality outcomes in a variety of roles since 2003 in teaching, leadership and management. Mike has worked in standalone convertor academies, a local based Multi Academy Trust and a larger national Multi Academy Trust.  Mike has a Bachelor of Science with second class (upper division) honours in Secondary Education in addition to NPQML / NPQSL / NPQH

Richard Freeth -  Member and Chair of Trust Board

Richard Freeth Member and Chair of Trust Board
Richard is a partner specialising in education law and has over 20 years’ experience working in the public and private sector advising on a range of education, children's services and employment issues arising out of the education sector. Richard has been recommended by the Legal Directories for his expertise on education law matters and has been involved in admissions, exclusions, SEN & Disability, academy conversions, working with over 1000 schools.

 

Robert Pearce -  Member and Vice Chair of Trustees 

Robert is a non-executive director and consultant who is passionate about delivering high quality services. He has a vast experience delivering solutions in challenging business, not-for-profit organisations and charity environments. He also works as an advisor to Warwickshire based SMEs together with serving as Chair of Heart of England Mencap.

 

 

 

Robert Matthews - Trustee

Robert Matthews -Trustee
Robert Matthews is a HeadTeacher of a large primary school. He has been in education for over 20 years and has a sustained record of success. He recently completed an MBA at Warwick, demonstrating his understanding of finance and economics as well as education. Currently the chair of the teaching and learning committee, he uses his educational experience to reflect on how NLS can improve. He is also the safeguarding link governor and has worked within safeguarding as a designated lead, dealing with many complex cases. Robert's main interest is in improving                                                                                       educational outcomes for all the local children in Leamington.

John Cleary - Trustee

John is an independent business owner of a local photography company since 2009. Before this, he worked for IBM for 17 years mainly as a web content management consultant working with blue chip clients such as British Airways, Shell Oil, Liverpool Victoria, Severn Trent, Renault F1 and Virgin Atlantic. After starting a family, he moved into resource management and latterly Global HR. He was one of the first intake at the inception of North Leamington School, attending Croft, then Binswood, leaving in 1983.

Sara Maslowski - Trustee

Sara has over twenty years’ experience in performance monitoring, evaluation, and information provision to support evidence-based decision making for public bodies, including for the BBC, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery and the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board. Sara has been a parent governor for four years, and chair for two. She lives in Leamington and has a son at North Leamington School.   

 

 

 

Ruth Tennant - Trustee

Ruth has worked in a variety of roles in the NHS and local government in the Midlands. She is currently Director of Public Health, Education and Inclusion for Solihull. She also has national roles on the Board of the Association of Directors of Public Health and NHS Prevention Board.
She lives in Leamington and has a daughter at North Leamington School.
