    Mr Mike Lowdell

    Chief Executive Officer

    Mike has worked for three Trusts in a senior leadership level across three different counties. Mike has an established record of delivering high quality outcomes in a variety of roles since 2003 in teaching, leadership and management. Mike has worked in standalone convertor academies, a local based Multi Academy Trust and a larger national Multi Academy Trust.  Mike has a Bachelor of Science with second class (upper division) honours in Secondary Education in addition to NPQML / NPQSL / NPQH.

    Amy Woodward

    Chief Financial Officer

    Amy is the Chief Finance and Operations Officer of the Trust. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), she has over 20 years' experience in education finance, operations and governance. Amy provides strategic leadership across finance, operations, compliance and risk management, supporting the Trust to deliver strong financial stewardship and value for money. Her extensive knowledge of education funding, financial planning and academy trust governance helps ensure the Trust is well positioned to support excellent educational outcomes for all pupils.

    Edd Morgan

    Network Manager

    Edd has worked in the education technology sector since 2017 and has held trust-wide leadership roles since 2022, providing both technical expertise and strategic direction. He is passionate about aligning technology initiatives with educational objectives to enhance student outcomes and support the wider school community. Edd has extensive experience in scaling and modernising central IT services to meet operational and strategic priorities while ensuring systems remain secure, compliant, and future-ready.

    Brian Langley

    HR Manager

    Brian, our Trust HR Manager is an experienced business professional having worked in secondary education for over 30 years. He has held a number of senior ‘support service’ positions during his career to date, including responsibilities for budget, financial scrutiny and overview, staffing and recruitment, capital projects, H&S and facility management. Brian is passionate about the opportunities a highly functioning educational setting can offer to the life chances and ambitions of young people. Specialising in HR management now for the ETMAT, he approaches his duties with a humble approach, building relationships built on mutual respect.

    Mike Hubbard

    Facilities Manager

    Mike Hubbard is our facilities manager who has worked previously outside of education managing Severn Trent Water sites. He currently oversees all site maintenance and services, from procurement to delivery, as well as managing and implementing Health & Safety measures, emergency evacuation, energy management procedures and the development of major capital site projects.

    Julie McBride

    Inclusion Lead

    Julie, has worked in a range of roles at NLS since 2004, and as part of the Leadership team for 12 years. A qualified PE Teacher having previously represented England in professional sport. Julie is the designated SENDCO at North Leamington School supported by a large Individual Educational needs Faculty team, and works across ETMAT to provide excellent inclusive provision. Julie has also worked with the Local Authority on the SEND Change project, and has completed SEND expert training.

    Helen Jones

    Safeguarding Lead

    Helen has worked in three trusts since entering the teaching profession in 2006, two of which have been at senior leadership level. Prior to this, Helen worked as a senior leader in the retail sector within logistics and distribution; her role leading systems and training projects led to the decision to train as a teacher. Since that point, Helen has become an established leader, gathering a range of experience across schools within two Local Authorities with varying contexts, including standalone academies and growing multi academy trusts. Helen has a Batchelor of Arts with second class (upper division) honours in English and Music, PGCE, NASENCO, NPQML, and most recently the NPQH.
